2nd assignmnet- Age 10 Article

My overall impression of this story was really good. It actually reminded me a lot of my brother who is really similar to Colin. Even to this day and he is twenty seven. I thought Colin's personality was a really good example of the child's mind.
What was interesting was that Colin showed very mixed personality trait of being mature and extremely immature. For instance, he knows alot about money and finances and is extremely interested in that, while at the same time he wanted to rap up people in fishing twine and stole from girls because he didnt know how else to get their attention. Colin is an interesting character and I like the story because it brought back many memories I had from growing up.
I did think that the author may have excagerated a bit and maybe put words into the kids mouth to spice the story up . This is just my opinion and it may not be true but that was the vibe I got while reading it. I just felt that they had dialogue that would not come out of a ten year olds mouth.
As a profile piece I think that this sheds a lot of light on the direction I should take my profile paper and I have a better idea of how it should look and how the layout would be done.
